Mad As Hell and Not Gonna Take It Anymore

I wonder what would happen if I started overtly advertising a gathering of police watchers? I am so sick of watching this country devolve into a police state and we are allowing it. Go and search youtube for unlawful police detentions and you will see a bunch of angry cops because they are being recorded!? They are PUBLIC servants. PUBLIC. If they were civilian citizens, the next PO's response would be "if they aren't doing anything wrong why should they care?". It is not about the cops' safety. It's about citizens rights and I am appalled at how they are being allowed to turn our FREE country into a police state. I am carefully considering this proposition and would love to know if anyone would be interested. I am looking into existing local groups who have been doing this. I have no life. I have no problem with the idea of finding where these unconstitutional check points are and video recording them the whole time. We know power corrupts. We have known for 40+ years that 65% of us will hurt someone else just because an authority figure tells us to. We also know that these are exactly the types who are preferred for hiring by Police departments around the country. WTF?? I am mad as hell and embarrassed at how I have not addressed this before. I think my generation and those before are guilty of looking the other way. Did the hippies give up? More likely sold out if they are like a lot of the boomers I know.
